Calvin is part of Propel’s tech team, helping start-ups and scale-ups build their software engineering teams globally. He came to recruitment a little later than most, pivoting into tech and then never looking back! He partners with businesses from their very first founding hires right through to scaling across funding rounds and IPO. Calvin’s approach is all about quality over quantity. He takes the time to understand what a business really needs and the kind of people who thrive there, and gives candidates honest conversations about their next move, with no false promises and no radio silence.
Outside of work, most of Calvin’s time is taken up with his family. He’s fallen in love with cycling, qualified as a dive instructor in the Philippines, and to turn the dial from 'cool' to 'cooler', he is an enthusiastic bedroom DJ!
