I’m currently working with a leading professional services organisation that is looking to appoint a Supplier Relationship Lead to join its growing technology function in London.

This is a key role focused on managing strategic technology supplier relationships, driving commercial value, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring third-party technology partners align with wider business and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with technology, procurement, finance, legal, and senior business stakeholders to optimise supplier performance, manage risk, and support ongoing technology transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a supplier relationship management strategy to optimise supplier performance, reduce risk, and ensure alignment with business goals
Ensure sourcing and renewal strategy roadmaps align with wider target architecture and technology roadmaps
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring value for money, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Establish and manage KPIs and SLAs for technology service providers, monitoring supplier performance and service delivery
Work closely with internal technology teams to ensure third-party suppliers integrate effectively within the wider technology environment
Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks including data security, regulatory compliance, data residency, and operational resilience
Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of service-related issues
Lead supplier issue resolution and escalation management, ensuring timely and proportionate outcomes that protect business interests
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supplier service quality, innovation, and cost optimisation
Work closely with finance and technology teams to manage supplier-related budgets and cost-saving initiatives
Lead and coordinate procurement activity to support new and renewing supplier engagements
Experience Required
5+ years’ experience within supplier management, vendor management, technology operations, procurement, or related commercial technology functions
Experience working within complex enterprise, professional services, or regulated environments
Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating technology contracts, pricing models, and supplier agreements
Significant experience managing technology outsourcing partners, managed service providers, and third-party technology suppliers
Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Experience onboarding and negotiating AI-related contracts, with awareness of upcoming AI Act compliance requirements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Analytical and data-driven approach to supplier performance management and decision making
Proactive approach to supplier issue resolution and service optimisation

Additional Information

London based hybrid working model (3 days onsite)
Salary between £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
