A leading UK media owner is launching dedicated B2B social channels as part of an ambitious commercial growth strategy. This is a newly created role within the Commercial Marketing team, designed to elevate how the business shows up to agencies, brand marketers and media partners.
You will build and own LinkedIn and Instagram channels focused on commercial storytelling across Audio, Video and a market-leading Outdoor portfolio. This is a hands-on, content-led role with real autonomy and visibility.As Commercial Social Media Manager, you will shape and deliver a premium, insight-led social presence that drives consideration and preference among advertising audiences.
This is not a corporate scheduler role. It is a creative-commercial hybrid position requiring strong editorial judgement, media literacy and the confidence to operate autonomously.
You will work closely with Product, Insight, Outdoor, Audio and Video teams to uncover stories, translate complex commercial propositions into compelling content, and build social channels that genuinely matter to the advertising community.
The Role
- Own and grow LinkedIn and Instagram channels dedicated to commercial audiences
- Develop audience segmentation, content pillars and channel strategy
- Create and publish always-on and campaign-led content
- Translate research, product launches and partnerships into engaging social-first storytelling
- Concept, shoot and edit social video and visual assets to a premium standard
- Manage a structured content calendar with room for timely, reactive opportunities
- Analyse performance data to refine formats, messaging and cadence
- Build strong internal relationships to surface stories and drive channel adoption
Required Skills
- Proven experience running B2B social channels end to end
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram within a commercial context
- Creative eye with experience producing polished social content
- Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video
- Ability to distil complex subject matter into clear, compelling messaging
- Confident operating independently within a fast-paced environment
- Interest in media, advertising or the agency landscape
