We’re partnering with a fast-growing, early-stage B2B SaaS company operating at the intersection of AI, marketing, and regulatory compliance. The platform helps marketing and legal teams review and approve marketing content against regulations, internal policies, and industry standards - enabling companies to move faster while staying compliant.



They’re now hiring a Founding Sales Engineer to help define and scale the pre-sales function from the ground up.



What You’ll Do

Lead a high volume of customer demos, with the role being technically focused.
Customize the product during live demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
Own PoCs end-to-end, including defining success criteria and managing the full process.
Act as the technical and regulatory expert when selling into legal, compliance, and marketing teams.
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and the CEO to shape messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
Ensure all demos and customer-facing materials are polished, accurate, and high quality.


Domain & Regulatory Expertise

Strong understanding of marketing compliance, advertising regulations, and legal marketing.
Experience reviewing marketing content against rules, disclosures, guidelines, and internal policies.
Able to clearly explain complex regulatory concepts to non-technical audiences.


Leadership & Ownership

Act as the first Sales Engineer hire, with 20% of your time focused on leadership and function-building.
Build the Sales Engineering function from scratch.
Create demo standards, PoC frameworks, playbooks, and documentation.
Develop content, frameworks, and compliance-aligned guidelines in collaboration with internal teams.
Play a highly influential role with direct exposure to senior leadership.


What They’re Looking For

Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales professional in B2B SaaS.
Comfortable leading technical demos and complex customer conversations.
Credible and confident working with legal and compliance stakeholders.
Enjoys autonomy, ownership, and operating in an early-stage environment.
Interested in shaping a function, not just executing within one.
