The Role – Ramp SDR Manager
As Ramp SDR Manager, you’ll take SDRs who have mastered the basics and prepare them for
promotion into New Business or Account Management. You’ll be developing top performers into
well-rounded commercial professionals capable of handling client conversations, negotiations,
and pipeline ownership.
Key responsibilities:
• Line-manage ~8 SDRs progressing through their ramp period
• Advance SDR training: discovery, client-facing skills, advanced objection handling, and
commercial awareness
• Support SDRs as they transition to AE/AM roles — ensuring they’re promotion-ready
• Track and report on pipeline generation, trial creation, and performance vs. targets
• Collaborate with senior leadership on sales strategy and process improvements
• Contribute to playbooks and scaling best practices
• Recruit and develop new SDR talent
About You
• 2–4 years’ SDR management or sales leadership experience
• Strong track record of hitting and exceeding team targets
• Proven ability to coach SDRs into revenue-focused roles
• Background in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or financial information
• Confident, direct, and commercially minded leadership style
• Analytical mindset — fluent in pipeline metrics and performance reporting
• Degree-level education in Business, Economics, Politics, or related field
