Our client is a specialist operating at the intersection of property, engineering, and data, helping commercial buildings perform better in the real world. They work with asset managers and landlords to optimise building performance, reduce energy use, and improve occupier experience through a combination of engineering expertise, smart technology and building data.

They are now hiring a Sales and Business Development Lead to be the first Sales hire to join their growing team.
The Role

This is a high-impact, revenue-owning position. You’ll lead new business across the market — opening doors, building relationships, and positioning a data-led, intelligent buildings solution with senior stakeholders across commercial real estate. This is not a transactional sales role. It’s about long-term relationship building, strategic growth, and market presence.

What You’ll Do

Own and deliver new business growth across commercial real estate
Build and convert a high-value, strategic pipeline
Engage landlords, asset managers, and investors at senior level
Lead complex sales cycles from first conversation through to close
Expand into new portfolios, sectors, and multi-asset opportunities
Represent the business externally — events, network, market presence
Collaborate internally to shape compelling commercial solutions
Drive cross-sell opportunities across broader service lines

About You

• Proven track record winning new business in commercial real estate, PropTech, or adjacent sectors
• Strong existing network across landlords, asset managers, and investors — essential
• Demonstrated success closing high-value, consultative deals
• Strategic, relationship-led seller (not transactional)
• Commercially driven with clear ownership of revenue targets
• Credible operator at senior / executive level
• Collaborative, professional, and highly personable
• Exposure to intelligent buildings, sustainability, or building performance
• Experience selling data-led or operational solutions
