Product Owner

I’m working with a leading professional services organisation that is looking for a Product Owner to join its growing Technology team.

This is a senior, hands-on role focused on owning the how and when of delivery across Intapp and the wider Risk & Compliance technology portfolio.

You’ll translate product strategy and business priorities into a clear, prioritised backlog and deliverable outcomes, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers.

The role covers client and matter intake, conflicts, AML, identity verification, sanctions screening and wider compliance technology, with a key focus on supporting an Intapp Cloud transition.Duties & Responsibilities
Own and prioritise the Jira backlog and delivery roadmap, ensuring work aligns with product strategy and business priorities.
Translate product objectives into clear epics, user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
Lead and participate in Agile planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security and QA teams to assess feasibility, manage dependencies and sequence delivery.
Act as the day-to-day Product contact for business stakeholders, users, operational teams and suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships, releases, support performance and product changes where required.
Coordinate UAT, pilots, release readiness, communications and adoption activity.
Ensure delivery meets relevant security, data, risk, compliance and operational requirements.
Own delivery priorities across Intapp Matter Opening, client/matter intake, conflicts, approvals and integration workflows.
Support the transition to Intapp Cloud, challenging legacy customisation and identifying what should and shouldn't be carried forward.
Work across supporting products including Thirdfort, World-Check and BvD, ensuring appropriate controls and supplier accountability.
Translate regulatory and control requirements into practical workflows, acceptance criteria and audit evidence.
Requirements / Skills & Experience
Significant experience as a Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or equivalent in a technology delivery environment.
Ideally 3+ years of hands-on Intapp experience specifically within a Product Owner role.
Strong experience with Intapp Matter Opening, client/matter intake and/or conflicts.
Experience across AML, sanctions, identity verification or wider Risk & Compliance workflows.
Strong backlog, requirements management and stakeholder leadership experience.
Hands-on experience with Jira or comparable product/delivery tooling.
Strong technical literacy across enterprise SaaS, integrations, data flows and third-party suppliers.
Experience delivering technology change within a regulated, audit-sensitive or high-control environment.
Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.

Intapp Cloud upgrade experience will be considered where candidates have less than 3 years of Intapp experience.

Experience within legal, professional services, financial services or another regulated environment would be particularly relevant.
