Be the first HR hire in the U.S. for a scaling, global software company in the construction technology space. This business is transforming the $13 trillion construction industry with cutting-edge AI and computer vision — automating on-site progress tracking and giving project teams the tools to plan smarter, deliver faster, and cut costly delays by up to 50%. Their platform is already proven on high-profile builds across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, with huge growth planned for 2025.
They’ve raised over $100M in funding, have an impressive global client base, and now need their first dedicated People Partner in the U.S. to support their fast-growing North American team.

• Act as a coach and trusted advisor on performance, feedback, and team dynamics
• Manage U.S. benefits programs (including health insurance) and handle employee queries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Support onboarding and offboarding for U.S. and Canada-based hires
• Lead or contribute to culture, DEI, and engagement projects

• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance
• Solid experience managing U.S. benefits programs
• Proven ability to coach and support managers through people challenges
• Hands-on experience in a high-growth company (ideally tech or startup)
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with autonomy but collaborative in approach
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus
The Package
• $80k–$120k USD base salary (depending on experience)
• Hybrid working from Chicago
• Work with talented, supportive colleagues globally
• A real opportunity to make an impact and shape the people experience as the company scales
