Paid Media Contractor – AI Software Start-Up
Part-Time | Ongoing Contract | Remote (UK Friendly) | Outside IR35
We’re working with an early-stage AI software start-up that has recently secured a $125m Series A raise and is entering an exciting growth phase.
They are now looking for a hands-on Paid Media Contractor to build and launch their paid advertising function from scratch across the UK and US markets.
You’ll own the paid media setup end-to-end, helping define channel strategy, campaign execution, reporting, and optimisation across a relatively lean budget.
Contract Details
• Location: Remote (UK-friendly)
• Engagement: Part-time, ongoing contract
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
• Budget: Approx. £5k–£10k monthly ad spend initially
• Day Rate: £300-£350
• Start Date: ASAP
• Flexibility: Hours can be flexible across the week
Key Responsibilities
• Build and launch paid media activity from scratch across Paid Social and Google Ads
• Manage campaigns across UK and US markets, with a primary focus on awareness, lead generation, product visibility, and event promotion
• Own campaign strategy, execution, optimisation, and performance reporting
• Create clear reporting loops back into the wider business to demonstrate ROI and insights
• Develop targeted acquisition strategies aligned to an ABM-style approach
• Test and scale paid activity while managing modest but flexible budgets
Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience in Paid Social and Google Ads campaign management
• Experience setting up paid acquisition programmes from scratch
• Strong understanding of technical B2B audiences and enterprise buying journeys
• Previous exposure to ABM advertising strategies is highly beneficial
• Comfortable managing smaller budgets efficiently while driving measurable impact
• Experience working within start-ups or early-stage businesses preferred
• US market exposure strongly preferred
