Our client is a specialist operating at the intersection of property, engineering, and data, helping commercial buildings perform better in the real world. They work with asset managers and landlords to optimise building performance, reduce energy use, and improve occupier experience through a combination of engineering expertise, smart technology and building data.
They are now hiring a Graduate Energy Engineer to join their growing team.
The Role
This is a graduate-level position offering hands-on exposure to how commercial buildings perform. You’ll support the delivery of energy and sustainability services across office and retail portfolios — combining site-based engineering insight with data analysis to identify opportunities to reduce energy use and improve building performance.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct on-site energy surveys across commercial buildings
• Assess HVAC systems, lighting, and building controls
• Analyse energy consumption data to identify trends and savings opportunities
• Produce clear, practical energy audit reports
• Support metering (AMR) installation and project coordination
• Work closely with facilities teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate project data and documentation
About You
• Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Energy or similar
• Strong analytical skills (Excel essential)
• Clear communicator — written and verbal
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Confident working on-site in live building environments
• Genuine interest in energy, sustainability, and building performance
• Exposure to HVAC, BMS, or building systems (nice to have)
