V7 are a London-based B2B AI start-up whose software helps AI and software businesses with visual databases. With £10m in Seed funding, they have been named by Forbes in their top Global 25 Machine Learning Start-Ups and have seen phenomenal growth in the last year having grown from 15 to 80 people and seen 700% growth in the last year.

The Challenge

Going through such rapid growth means that V7 needed a trusted recruitment partner to ensure their hires have both relevant experience and that they fit in with the company mission and culture. They needed help to hire their first Strategic Account Manager, who would have both a strong sales background and a highly refined and consultative relationship management style.

The Propel Solution

Propel were able to map a market of enterprise and consultative software vendors based in London and actively headhunt their most senior salespeople. We interviewed a total of 8 candidates, 2 of which made it to final stage and were able to place an excellent candidate who aligned to V7’s expectations.

The Results

We continue to work closely with V7 recruiting across their sales and engineering teams.
