Tessian

Tessian are a VC backed scale-up business who use machine learning technology, to automatically predict and eliminate advanced threats on email caused by human error – like data exfiltration, accidental data loss, business email compromise and phishing attacks – with minimal disruption to employees’ workflow.

Why did they need to use us?

Following their $74m Series C funding, Propel were approached by Tessian to help support the scaling of their Platform and Data Engineering teams, where they were hiring from Technical Leadership positions down within a highly competitive market late in 2021.

What did Propel do?

We have since worked closely as an extension of the talent function, helping to market map, budget and set recruitment processes, to attract the best talent, whilst being conscious of the market demands.

The Results

Having successfully placed within the Leadership team relatively quickly, we continue to support the team across their Platform, Data Science, ML and Data engineering practices.
