Playstation were to make a director level hire to run planning and forecasting globally for the digital store.

Why did they need to use us?

Propel’s typical client base is smaller, venture-backed  tech businesses and Playstation felt that this sector might relinquish the kind of talent they were interested in. We were asked to produce a shorlist that combined candidates from disruptive consumer internet businesses alongside of those from the more traditional corporate hunting grounds of Sony Playstation.

What did Propel do?

Propel assembled a blended shorlist as instructed and the successful candidate was selected 14 weeks later.

The Results

Playstation ultimately hired two people from the work we did and both continue to see their careers thrive at Sony.
