Peloton, the global FitnessTech disruptor behind products such as the Peloton Bike and Tread who IPO’d in 2019.

Propel started working with Peloton before the IPO and were lesser known internationally whilst they were expanding their global operations with a team in London. This would enable them to further launch & scale internationally.

The Challenge


Establishing new International offices is always has challenges; time zones, culture the obstacles are endless, yet it is imperative to get things right first time. Peloton came to Propel who have a reputation for scaling successful US business in the UK and Europe for a number of key hires across product, design and engineering.

As disruptors in an industry, Peloton search for not only a high calibre of individual but also those capable of being autonomous and entrepreneurial within a larger organisation.

Propel were able to access their network of hard to access and interview around those suitable for the talent who are were confident on being autonomous and understood the nuances of working for an internal organisation as they established their presence in the UK and Europe.


The Results


Propel were able to hire successfully across multiple skill sets and disciplines including Product, Engineering and Design.


Often with international hiring managers Propel acted as an extension of the organisation being the first point of contact within the hiring process for each candidate. We were also able to educate the teams with the UK market, ensuring all hiring decisions were educated ones.


Propel continue to support Peloton are hypergrowth and increasingly global organisation.
