Openblend is a B2B SaaS company that focuses on providing employee happiness and workforce management solutions to a range of companies from SME through to Enterprise. They retained Propel to appoint a VP of Customer Success in order to manage and grow their existing CS team.

Why did they need to use us?

Openblend were looking for a Senior individual who thoroughly understood the B2B SaaS space and who had experience building and managing successful Customer Success teams within high-growth start-up and scale-up companies. It was also imperative that this person would be closely culturally aligned to the company’s mission as they would be actively influencing CS strategy and hiring.

What did Propel do?

We created an in-depth market map, actively head-hunting top-tier Customer Success Leaders within the high-growth B2B SaaS space. We also looked to generate a list of recommended contacts from start-up and scale-up leaders that were known to Propel in order to make sure candidates were culturally aligned to Openblend’s mission.

The Results

We were able to generate a shortlist of 15 candidates, 4 of whom made it to the final stage and were able to successfully appoint an excellent VP Customer Success who has since been promoted to CCO.
