Heavily backed by BCG and Ontario’s Teachers Pension, AI based field operations software and future UK unicorn Fyld.ai were introduced to Propel previously and we have aided them in their rapid growth ever since.

The Challenge

FYLD are growing their data science and machine learning capabilities, therefore creating 2 junior roles in the team. When taking the brief for this role, FYLD also asked us to focus on diversity and championing women in tech. The tech market is extremely competitive. At a junior level, graduates are receiving multiple offers and FYLD needed an agent to focus on find strong, diverse candidates with a specific skillset.

The Propel solution

Propel have a lot of experience within data science and machine learning. We also have access to a large pool of resources for headhunts like LinkedIn recruiter, and the job platform Reed. We successfully sourced a female data science graduate who immediately gelled with the team.

The Results

Propel found an excellent female candidate for FYLD. Not only did this hire champion women in tech, they also have a clear progression pathway set up in the business meaning FYLD only had to make 1 hire to fill both the original positions.
