Propel were introduced to Four Eyes Insight (FEI), the medical consultancy company, in January 2019 by private equity investor Livingbridge. Focusing on clinical efficiency, FEI were looking for a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to set up and run the software division of the business.
Propel’s team worked closely with the FEI management team to provide advice and guidance around the type of person that would be required, market rate salary levels, and the nature of the role itself.
Reporting to the CEO, the CPO would be responsible for defining and delivering the FEI software product vision, strategy, and roadmap. FEI needed someone who could translate this vision into a scalable product, but an individual who was also capable of working very closely with the consulting leadership team and maintaining and managing a large team of people.
Propel conducted a full search to find the right CPO. The team refined an extensive longlist of target profiles to a defined and specific shortlist of candidates in April 2019. FEI appointed the successful candidate at the end of April 2019.
