Data Engineer – (Python AWS ETL) Is required to join a small but high performing data analytics start up who is on a mission to help the NHS save 100s of millions of pounds. Due to recent events this companies platform has become more valuable than ever in saving the NHS money and thus has seen extraordinary levels of traffic. Because of this they need to scale a brand new platform and are looking for an experienced data engineer to join the team and develop its tech stack – rethinking how best to provide its analytics solution.

Job Description

The Role

As a senior data engineer for this start up helping the NHS you will join to design and build a new data platform from scratch incorporating latest technologies and cloud-based architectures. You will use the latest tools to design and build new pipelines that take data from a variety of sources and transforming them into data that powers this SAAS platform.

You will work closely with the software development teams to provide them with usuable data that can be delivered through the platform to customers ultimately helping the NHS.

There is opportunity to take this role a number of ways – you can stay completely technical or in time build and lead a team to deliver this solution.

About you

As a senior data engineer for this start up helping the NHS you will:
• Have led the design and development of large parts of similar systems using recognized standards and protocols
• Be confident with Python
• Have a working level knowledge of SQL
• Have worked with cloud based platforms AWS or GCP.
• Have confidence with ETL
