Engineering Lead (Python Django GraphQL) Is required to join an extremely well backed B2C start up whose platform aims to help parents all over the world gain access to services for their children. Having found a solid market fit and now experiencing Impressive customer and revenue growth this company is looking for an Engineering Lead to join the team and help drive technical strategy, conceptualize and execute a product roadmap and manage a small team of 4. You will need to be hands on and open to working on a Django or Rails backend and have a strong grasp of cloud infrastructure in AWS. This is a great opportunity to join an extremely well backed business, that is providing a social good, at an early stage and scale them as they grow over the next 24 months

Job Description

The Role
As an Engineering Lead, you will work closely with Senior leadership within the business (CEO,CPO) to articulate and execute on technology roadmap and strategy from Launch to Scale. You’ll collaborate with Senior Engineers to make architecture decisions to deliver a scalable platform in AWS Python (want to work in this) and JavaScript . You’ll Collaborate with Product on the any roadmap and provide direction on how to deliver it. You’ll also need to lead a small team (currently 4) to and create an attractive engineering culture to engineers will want to work in.

While not being a DevOps engineer you will need a good understanding of Infrastructure and working in a fast paced Agile Environment.

About You

• You’ll have experience creating Technology roadmap and strategy
• You’ll have experience working in an AWS environment
• You’ll have experience owning and building B2C products from scratch or owning major features set Developments.
• You’ll have an in depth knowledge of working in a fast paced agile environment where software engineering best practices like unit testing and integration testing are crucial.
