** Data Engineering Manager - 3 month contract - Outside ir35 - Start ASAP - Based in Soho, London **

Job Description

My client is a small start up who are launching the first of a new global network of digital media spaces, beginning in London Soho this year!

The Data Engineering manager will work solo and report into the CTO of the business, therefor you must have experience of working for a fast-paced, agile, small team. Ideally experience of working for a Media/agency client.

Technical experience needed:

- Software development or database experience
- Familiarity with agile or other rapid application development methods and experience with object-oriented design, coding and testing patterns
- Experience with relational database internals, including both query processing and query planning, or other data processing infrastructure
- Experience in data engineering patterns and constructs e.g. Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL, MapReduce
- Design and continuous iteration of data strategy
- Successful experience in the data architecture, automation and delivery in AdTech, Media or similar industries
- Experience delivering data cloud-based data products and working with public cloud services - GCP, AWS, Faction etc
