Propel have been enlisted to source a CRM Manager to join an exciting disruptive startup in the ethical health and wellness space. Their well-researched, tested and funded product has enjoyed countless testimonials from consumers, medical professionals, as well as being consistently endorsed by celebrities and influencers.

The company is currently undergoing a radically strategic transformation and expansion to become a truly customer-centric, technology-led global brand and need an articulate self-starter who can deal with the rapid change of a start-up environment to revamp and scale their all-important CRM activity.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Retention, your primary responsibilities will be to develop the customer lifecycle and own audience engagement. This will include automation, split testing and supporting the development of database growth strategies. This start-up has major growth ambitions and you will play a key role in driving the expansion. The role demands a self-motivated, driven and confident personality who will build on current process and strive for improvement. The current customer lifecycle is very basic, so there's huge scope to make your mark!

Day to day

• Own the customer lifecycle, through email with the intention to expand into new channels such as SMS, onsite, push etc

• Build all email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo

• Test campaign performance across a wide range of devices

• Audience segmentation, testing and optimisation

• Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements

• Recommend and support opportunities to grow email marketing databases

• Implement opportunities for automation

• Ensure campaigns follow industry policies and best practices

• Scope to drive new initiatives such as AI segmentation and LTV

• Competitor benchmarking, analysis and monitoring

About You

• 5+ years’ hands on experience in CRM campaign creation and management

• Advanced knowledge of email template creation, flow creation, automation

• Comprehensive understanding of email best practices such as subject lines, messaging, dynamic emails, customer segmentation and re-targeting

• Strong knowledge of GDPR requirements and practices

• An articulate, creative, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where rapid change is the norm

• Commercial marketing experience (agency or in-house)

This hybrid role would suit an ambitious, numerate and commercially-focused individual with a no-nonsense, proactive attitude who is looking to springboard their career.
