Revolutionary probiotic supplement business Symprove had recently appointed a new Chief Commercial Officer. The CCO was part of the management team that was setting out to oversee a radical strategic transformation to the business and its capabilities. The intention being to enable Symprove to become a truly customer-centric, technology-led global health and wellness brand.
As part of this project, certain essential skill sets needed to be added to the commercial and marketing team.
Propel helped Symprove hire skilled permanent and contract marketers in the team to help with the development and execution of the customer acquisition and retention strategy.
Early conversations with the CCO identified some specific skill set requirements that were going to make a big difference to Symprove marketing capabilities. We were able to advise on how job roles might be defined and blended together to fulfil the requirements and make the search workable.
In addition to this, location was a factor with Symprove’s HQ being based on a farm just outside Farnham in Surrey. Propel would help with creating interest in the opportunity and targeting a community of candidates who would be open to the location.
