Finimize is a leading financial technology company that empowers individuals to become smarter investors. By providing easily digestible financial news, analysis, and educational content, Finimize aims to bridge the gap between everyday people and the complex world of finance. This case study focuses on the successful recruitment efforts by a recruiter who placed three Account Executives and two Business Development Representatives at Finimize.
As the demand for Finimize’s services grew rapidly, the company recognised the need to expand its sales team to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth both on the promotional side but also grow out the team on the business to business API side. Samantha was tasked with sourcing and placing highly skilled professionals who could effectively communicate Finimize’s value proposition, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.
Samantha worked closely with the senior leadership team at Finimize to nail down the profile this candidate had to have. From past experience to personal character traits. Working closely with Alex Condrick (Head of Sales) and Nik (Head of Business Development) to define the most appropriate profiles for each role.
We worked on a tactical plan to headhunt the right talent, going down multiple routes to market map the right businesses. It was essential we found the right candidates for these roles and so we wanted to give our client, Finimize a good collective to interview so that they could make an informed decision about the hire.
We reached out to candidates across Fintech and Publishing businesses that focused on selling into the financial sector. Over a 6 week period, we interviewed many candidates that were interested and whittled these to the top 5 per role we covered. It was then over to Finimize to choose who their ‘’ideal’’ candidate was.
We’re delighted to continually support Alex, Yumika, Nik and the rest of the Finimize team as they continue to expand. We partner with them on scoping further roles and headcount, advising on the best skillsets, timelines and brand awareness to build upon talent attraction.
